We booked our stay and four days later, the rooms went on sale. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t adjust our stay. You pay extra for everything here. If you’d like to use AirCon, it’s 40 euros extra and does not reach the bedrooms. The bedrooms are like closets. It costs 1euro to throw away your garbage. The worst part of our stay was while we were trying to enjoy the pool and sauna, the gardener systematically cut the bushes for every unit around us with his trimming saw. Hours of sawing. We asked him to please stop after several hours, and he refused. I found out later that he didn’t stop trimming the hedges with his saw when my four year old niece was trying to get out of the car right next to the hedge, which is dangerous. The gardener was very disruptive. The entire resort was empty, but he had to use his saw for the entire day surrounding where we were staying. The sauna in the bathroom did not work. In fact, when you tried to turn it on, it shorted the electricity in the entire house. When we asked for help (with the sauna), help was refused. Apparently, this place does not care if you can enjoy your vacation. If you’d like to relax, I wouldn’t stay here.

The rooms are very small, and the AirCon does not reach the rooms. You cannot open the windows because they do not have screens and the mosquitoes were everywhere. We had a difficult time enjoying the pool, sauna, and jacuzzi in our yard because the landscaper was using a trim hedger for hours. We were listening to a loud saw noise for the whole afternoon. It was relentless. He declined going to another area of the park when we asked him. The park was almost completely empty except for our party, so we felt landscaping around our rental and refusing to move a few houses away was unreasonable. It really ruined our experience. The landscaper was back to do our yard (the one house he skipped around us all afternoon) the very next morning before our check-out. Would have been great to wait until our check-out time before entering our yard with his noisy saw. We don’t recommend staying here, but if you do, expect to pay extra for everything from the AirCon to throwing away your trash. It’s a shame because the area is beautiful. But the service and experience left much to be desired.

The worst experience i have ever seen. No professionalism. This place is a scam and reap travellers off their money. I booked to them and got to the location at 9:30pm after a long journey only to be kept outside in the snow unattended to in the night. I was in the cold until 2:45am until a taxi a friend helped to book came to get me from the location. The location is a deadend with no transport facility. I was been played over the phone by the person who was speaking to me, asking me to come pick the keys at another resort called De Veerstal which was 52km away from the location of this scammers. No refund is been done to my money too. You guys need to be aware of this.

One of the worst "very well looking" hotels. They claim you have "maximum privacy" ,yet their personel can randomly walk inside your house to check it. And after we came back,main door wasnt locked. I could say its unacceptable for this price. Swimming pool opening hours is a joke-closing 5pm in the weekends??? To use washing machine,you have to buy a token in the reception. But after the washing machine got broken and clothes were stuck inside,they refused to give us new token to do washing in other machine-what a joke! This place looks like nursing home,not holiday home.

We had booked as part of Horse Sport Ireland to represent Ireland in show jumping in Litchenvoorde. We had booked seven nights recently but due to government restrictions the organisers of the show had to cancel. “bungalow.net” handle most of their bookings and refuse to refund us for part of our stay Mon - Wed which was part of two bookings we made plus we have been told that other participating families from the Irish Team have also had to deal with the same issues. Be strongly advised to read the terms and conditions and their Covid Guidelines regarding refunds. They have been very unreasonable and we will certainly not be using this venue again for any of our future shows in Litchenvoorde. Very disappointing overall.
